We are Boffins, we bring together the ingenuity of the early distillers and modern-day mavericks, the knowledge of botanicals and spices of Africa, and the reductionist scientific wizardry of the modern West.
Our Spirits
Our Spirits are fully organic and so are our botanicals, herbs, and spices. We work closely with farmers in Africa sourcing the best of the ingredients that are used in our spirits.
Our Spirits are not only exhilarating in nature but also kind to planet Earth. Due care and attention have gone into sourcing the ingredients to craft this magical experience.
Our Team
Dafydd, Andrew, and Sian are at the forefront of operations which means they are the ones who take these ideas and bring them to life. Distillation, working with botanicals, bottling, and labeling are some of the important tasks they undertake and execute to perfection.
Numbers Boffin Param Iyer is a Finance Professional by profession and is a confessed spirits maniac. Rum and Gin especially put a spring in his steps, and he claims that finance becomes funance when he is dealing with spirits and botany.
Kenyan Boffins Arun Singh (Chief Agronomist) has been engaged in the development of herbs in Kenya. He is the pioneer in producing Botanical Herbs in Kenya as a commercial crop and has been developing commercial farms across Kenya for the last two decades. A large number of farmers admire him for his contribution to their farms and for improving their economic condition.
Rakesh Mishra is a graduate in the field of Alcohol and has been engaged in various distilleries for the last 3 decades in creating a range of spirits and is a master distiller. He loves to be called as “Doctor of Alcohol”. Based in Nairobi, Kenya they specialise in organic farming and hand-pick the best of African botanicals that are infused into Boffin Spirits.
